Come night time the cool cats of Nice slink down to the funky Smarties bar. This trendy retro lounge allows you to shake to the music, while you sip on a swanky cocktail until late at night.
Just down the road from the Saint Roch Hospital, Smarties may seem a little out of the way but it is easy enough to find. Because of this it makes it less of a tourist hang out and more like the real French retro bar experience.
Open from 17h00 to 00h30 Tuesday to Sunday, Smarties isn't a massively late night establishment but rather somewhere to go earlier in the evening before hitting a club later on if it takes your fancy, although it doesn't get busier until later on.
Entrance is free.
