Aphrodite Restaurant is a sleek and stylish restaurant situated on Boulevard Dubouchage in Nice, a modern and contemporary dining room popular for corporate lunches and intimate, romantic dinners alike.
Aphrodite is undoubtedly one of the most popular restaurants in Nice and the French Riviera, with it's sensational dishes and trendy upmarket ambiance it certainly will not fail to impress. The dining room is modern with a Mediterranean feel in it's terracotta and cream decor and warm lighting.
The kitchen produces really exciting nouvelle cuisine and has a bold, creative menu with signature dishes such as fillet of Saint-Pierre roasted with liquorice, purple artichokes, pistacios and lemon and served with salad. Or, fillet of beef roasted with pine needles and served with apple mashed potatoes. It certainly is innovative.
The new R...Evolution menu at Aphrodite is bizarre and futuristic combining science with gourmet cuisine. Chef David Faure's creations are daring and experimental but seem to work. At 98 Euro per head without wine, it's not cheap but then considering the work that goes into preparing these exquisite little dishes it's well worth it. There are 14 courses to this tasting Menu so you have to be seated by 21h30 at the latest but it's best to go earlier so you get to take your time!
The service at Aphrodite is impeccable and costing around 50 Euro per head for a three course meal without wine it's well worth a visit to see these works of art on your plate.
The Restaurant is closed throughout January.
