Stars N Bars

Stars 'n' Bars is such a fun, friendly place to go for a night out. The atmosphere is lively and colourful and all the staff are incredibly pleasant and helpful. Throughout the day it is a great place to have coffee and watch the world go by.

Stars 'n' Bars has several different hats, it's a restaurant, bar, sports club and lounge. It has a Hard Rock Cafe feel to it without being pretentious and has a much more local, unaffected feel to it that so many themed bars fail to acheive. The food is excellent and served all day from 11h00 until midnight. There are a few different Menus, the set menus at various prices for the day, the standard Stars 'n' Bars menu and upstairs the Fusion on the Port menu which is comprised of lighter, more intrictate Asain dishes like Thai hot pots and sushi and sashimi.

There is a bit of a Tex Mex flavour to the food here as you would expect from any American themed restaurant. There are the usual burgers, ribs, T Bones, buffalo wings and chili's. But they are all reasonably priced and taste fantastic. If you fancy a salad then there's plenty to choose from. If you can still find room for dessert then the menu won't disappoint.

Happy hour is from 17h30 to 19h30 Monday to Friday when there are discounts available on draught beer, wine and cocktails. There is an extensive cocktail menu to choose from and they make a particularly good Mojito.

They also have a race room with F1 car simulators with panoramic screens and different race tracks and cars to choose from. Great for the big kid in all of us!

And with Stars n' Bars located in pole position for the F1 Grand Prix this is the place to be in May!

Open daily through the summer, closed on Mondays from October - April.

More than that though, throughout the day it has a great family feel to it and children are welcome. Located on the Port it's a wonderful place to sit outside, have coffee and watch the world go by.
