Cours Saleya Flower Market

Frenchriviera

Cours Saleya is one of the most vibrant and popular markets on the French Riviera. Every stall has something to excite the senses from beautiful flowers to exotic spices, it really is a treat for the eyes.

Located in the old town of Nice, in the best known pedestrian district, the market is lined with cafes and restaurants making it a favourite meeting place for locals. A wonderful spot for people-watching!

Head down the Promenade des Anglais until you come to the Quai des Etats Unis. Turn left and take the first right at the end of Place Massena. You will see the market ahead.

The market is open 6 days a week as a flower and food market but on Mondays it magically transforms to an Antiques and bric-a-brac market. Perfect if you are looking for Antiques, silverware or a beautiful piece of art.

As Cours Saleya is so incredibly popular it is probably best to avoid the mid part of the day and visit in the morning, especially if you're looking for a nice piece of fish as they sell out really early.
