The fish is all caught locally and put onto beds of ice that morning, even at midday there are some fish still flapping about which just proves how fresh they are. You can find all the fruit and vegetables in season your heart could desire as well as locally produced honey, olive oil, tapenades, olives, freshly made pastas, cheeses, meat and charcuterie.

Marche Forville is open all year round although there are slightly fewer stalls during the winter months.

Just round the corner is Rue Meynardiers so once you've picked up all your produce in the market you can wander down there and find some exquisite bread and cake shops, chocolate shops, cheeses and ready made produce to add to your shopping basket.
