Description
Join a fun, nature-based experience designed for small groups and suitable for all levels. Just 5 minutes from Monaco, our diving center in Cap d'Ail offers the perfect setting to explore the Mediterranean with an underwater scooter.
Meet your instructor at our waterfront diving center, where you'll receive all the necessary equipment: mask, fins, snorkel, UV-protective lycra or wetsuit, and your own underwater scooter.
After a short briefing, you'll enter the water directly from the shore for a guided snorkeling tour. Along the way, you'll stop to observe octopus, sea urchins, colorful fish, and other Mediterranean marine life while learning about the local ecosystem.
Whether you're a beginner looking for a relaxing activity or a confident swimmer eager to enjoy the scooter's full performance and even try a few short breath-holds, this experience is suitable for all levels.
Duration
The experience lasts approximately 2 hours:
15–30 minutes for welcome, equipment fitting, and briefing.
45–75 minutes of guided snorkeling, depending on the group's level.
15–30 minutes to return the equipment and change.
Equipment Included
Underwater scooter adapted to your level.
Mask, snorkel, and fins (optional if preferred).
Wetsuit or Barbadiving UV-protective long-sleeve lycra and leggings for comfort, sun protection, and protection against jellyfish.
Your Instructor
Your guide is a certified professional freediving and scuba diving instructor. They will explain how to use the scooter, ensure your safety throughout the activity, and introduce you to the local marine environment.
A Different Way to Explore
Unlike most snorkeling excursions, we start directly from the shoreline. There is no boat transfer, allowing us to explore quiet coastal areas that boats cannot reach. Thanks to the underwater scooter, you'll cover much more distance than during a traditional snorkeling trip while enjoying a peaceful natural setting.
