> A few evenings each summer, the Bay of Cannes becomes the stage for one of the most prestigious pyrotechnic shows in the world. Tens of thousands of people crowd shoulder to shoulder on the Croisette to look up at the sky. You will be on the water. > Meet in the late afternoon at Palm Beach. Our team will welcome you, adjust your kayak and life jacket, and then give you everything you need to know before you set off: the kayaking area, the best spot facing the fireworks, the show schedule, and a safety briefing. You then set off on the bay, in pairs or groups of three depending on your kayak, and reach the water as the sun sets behind the Esterel. > This is one of the most beautiful moments of the day. The sea calms down, the light turns golden, and the hills turn pink. You paddle quietly, you stop, you float. Around you, the city gradually lights up and the first boats take up their positions. > Then everything goes dark, and the sky bursts into flames. For about 20 minutes, the show unfolds above you, immense, with the music carried on the water and the reflections that redraw the entire bay at your feet. There's no one in front of you. No barrier, no crowd, no umbrella. Just the sea, the sky, and the silence between two explosions. > >When the last salvo falls, you return to the beach at your leisure. Our team will be waiting for you at the drop-off to collect the equipment. > >Bring: light clothing and a warm garment for the drop-off, water, and a waterproof bag for your phone (provided on request). No prior experience is necessary: our kayaks are stable and easy to maneuver, and the trip is over a short distance in sheltered waters. > Space is limited and dates are rare. An evening you will never forget. An important point: I wrote 'about 20 minutes' for the fireworks. Check the actual length of the program and adjust accordingly; it's the kind of detail that can make or break a review.
