The life and soul of French towns and villages are their markets and French Riviera Markets are possibly the most colourful, exciting and vibrant as you’ll find anywhere. Filled with the mouth-watering aromas of olives, cheeses, spices and mushrooms, the fragrant flowers, natural soaps and honeys, all of which are produced locally either by the vendors themselves or from regional wholesalers. Standards are high on the French Riviera and the fruit, vegetables, meat and fish are of the freshest quality. The majority of markets are only open in the morning and will have generally packed up by 1300 unless otherwise stated.
