Explore the natural wonders of the French countryside on a guided tour to the Verdon Gorge. Admire spectacular views and visit nearby villages for an unforgettable experience. Leave the coast and enjoy a beautiful drive through the Gorges du Loup with a stop at the Saut du Loup waterfall to capture stunning photos in this natural location. You will begin to drive through the French Alps to arrive at Castellane and enjoy free time in this village located at the gates of the Verdon Gorges and nestled at the foot of its famous rock culminating at 180 meters with its church perched at the top. Follow the Verdon River, named after its surprising turquoise green color, to the canyon considered the most beautiful in Europe. Enjoy the spectacular and breathtaking views of the depths of the gorges which reach depths of up to 700 meters. Your driver guide will take you to the end of the canyon to enjoy a photo stop at a point overlooking Lake Sainte-Croix. Stop at Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, one of the most beautiful medieval villages in France, known for its rich history of ceramic crafts. Take the time to enjoy a good lunch and take a walk. Marvel at the lush lavender fields when they are in bloom (June 15 to late July depending on weather conditions) Depending on the weather conditions and your wishes, your driver/guide may offer you free time at the lakeside instead of the walk in the village of Moustier.
