La Colmiane is a lovely ski resort with something for everyone, just East of Mercantour National Park. It is not as busy as some of the other resorts and as such delivers open, crystal white, powdery slopes and lifts where you don't have to queue for hours.
La Colmiane is a great family resort with emphasis placed upon children's activities as well as the skiing. They have a snow garden for the tiny ones, ESF school, a snow making machine and a half pipe for the teens. It doesn't end there, you can take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage or go paragliding! Try ice climbing or have a go on the toboggan, you'll never be bored here.
There are also great Spa facilities in the town at the Eden Altitude Spa. They have a gym with CV equipment, hammam, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and treatment facilities including several different massage types. Just what you need after a hard day on the slopes and if you're a resident of The Adrechas then you can experience it all for only 10,00 € as a couple!
The resort itself, close to Valdeblore, has every amenity you could ask for. There is an abundance of shops, restaurants and supermarkets for those on self-catering holidays. As well as many sports equipment shops where you can buy or hire everything you'll need for your holiday.
