The Museum of Fine Art contains collections from Claude Monet, Alfred Sisley, Pierre Bonnard and Eugene Boudin among others. They also hold a considerable amount of fine sculptures by Carpeaux, Rodin and Tarnowsky to name a few.

Open daily fom 10h - 18h but closed on Mondays and certain public holidays.

The Museum is busiest in the afternoons but then it is a welcome escape from the heat in the air conditioned galleries. Avoid the weekend if you can as this is the peak visiting time.

Entrance is free but commentary is available in English on Fridays at 1430 at a cost of 5 Euro for adults and 2,50 Euro for children.

Bus routes 3, 8, 9, 10, 12, 22 & 23 will take you to the south entrance if you alight at Grosso or Rosa Bonheur. Bus no. 38 takes you to the north entrance and you need to alight at Cheret.
