Museum d'Histoire Naturelle de Nice
Frenchriviera
The Natural History Museum of Nice has a wonderful display of all manner of marine life, vertebrates and invertebrates as well as mineral formations and excellent examples of plant life from the area. This isn't one of the greatest natural history museums in the world but it is still an interesting enough day out if you haven't much else to do on a day when the weather isn't perhaps at it's best.
The Museum is open daily from 10h - 18h except Mondays and certain public holidays.
The best part is that entrance is free!
Bus lines 3, 4, 5, 6, 16, 17 & 25 all pass the museum and you will need to alight at the Acropolis-Barla.
There is no parking available on site.
The Museum isn't generally over-crowded however, during school term times you can occasionally see school trips taking place as you would expect in any Museum. Weekends are slightly busier.
